MetricsAnalytics Sonar - Use with sonar 1.12? - Redmine

Use with sonar 1.12?

Hi,

judging from the project page it seems that the metrics analytics plugin does not work with Sonar 1.12.

I've managed to build the 0.6.6 tag from SVN and got it to run with Sonar 1.12, but still some metrics do not seem to be calculated, for example Arch, Distance and Cycles always stays at 0 or 0% respectively.

We haven't adapted MetricsAnalytics with Sonar 1.12.

Soon, we will prepare the future roadmap.

I want to strongly encourage you to do so soon. I've got staff continuously complaining about "that lame plugin" because half the numbers are meaningless; they're trying to convince me to dump it altogether - and to not reinstall it if and when it finally gets fixed. I suspect we're not alone in our frustration.

Please, please update the plugin - or at least give us a solid roadmap - and soon.

We, too, got burned when converting to 1.12 with the MetricsAnalytics plugin.
Unfortunately we had to remove the plugin to enable 1.12.

I would like to emphasis on this. We are using Sonar 2.1 and would be very interested to learn when this plug-in is available for this 2.1.

As Isotrol could not upgrade MetricsAnalytics for whatever reason, Martin has decided to develop a new plugin with similar functionality based on the new metrics computed by Sonar 2.0.
